Our team has recently undertaken a Bamboo excavation project in Watchet, Somerset.
As shown in the images, this Bamboo was well established and had spread laterally over a significant distance, with rhizomes extending throughout the lawn and encroaching into neighbouring properties.
The Bamboo had also exploited the adjacent stone wall, which will continue to be monitored during our scheduled inspection visits. Should any new growth be observed, it will be treated with a systemic herbicide. As the remaining rhizome is now detached from the main network, it will be susceptible to any subsequent treatments.
Upon completion of the full programme, Southwest Knotweed will provide a 10-Year Guarantee.
